This morning we went back to West, Texas, and continued to move products from the warehouse to the semi trailers. We then were sent to a different warehouse to take toothpaste, tooth brushes, and floss (tons of them!) out of ruined and damaged boxes and transfer them into new boxes.
While we were waiting for new boxes to be delivered, the group decided to walk to the Village Bakery which is the oldest Czech bakery in Texas. Father Thomas treated us to Kolaches. The people inside were so welcoming and appreciative of our help. Before leaving the bakery, the owner gave us a container of baked cookies and said “God bless and thanks for stopping in!” 🙂
